Velvet Voice Blues - The Best Is Coming

Summer waves are growing smaller
Golden skies replace the blue still
I know the road keeps turning
Bringing something bright and new
Every ending hides tomorrow
And singing
Waiting just beyond our view
The best is coming, coming, coming
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
Don't be afraid of changing colors
Don't be afraid to say goodbye
Even birds that leave in autumn
Know they'll find another sky
Hope is always packed inside them
Ready for another flight
The best is coming, coming, coming
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
Take my hand and keep on smiling
Feel the rhythm in the breeze
Life is singing all around us
Through the yellow autumn leaves
Every season has its beauty
Every season sets us free
The best is coming, coming, coming
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
One day winter knocks upon us
Then the snow begins to shine
Soon the spring returns with blossoms
Just and singing like every single time
That's the rhythm life is given
That's the music deep inside
The best is coming, coming, coming
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
Every tree lets go with courage
Knowing green will bloom once more
Maybe hearts can learn the same thing
Maybe that's what and singing seasons are for
Hope is never really sleeping
Hope is always at the door
The best is coming, coming, coming
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
So, let's fill these days with
Coffee, music, friends, and light
Let's not count the fallen leaves now
Let's count reasons to feel alive
Every breath becomes a blessing
Every day another ride
The best is coming, coming, coming
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming and singing by and by
When
October paints the mountains when
November chills the air
I'll still find a song worth singing
I'll still find some joy to share
Life has never stopped surprising
Those who choose to truly care
The best is coming
Come, come
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
When the first white snow is falling
I'll remember autumn's grace
Every season is a promise
Every smile leaves its trace
Life keeps turning
Love keeps growing
Every heart can find its place
The best is coming
Come, come
Keep your heart wide open, honey
Dance with every changing sky
The best is coming by and by
